2020 Ford Evos * Price * Release date * Specs * Engine * Interior *
2020 Ford Evos. The first two signs of Ford’s new design language are “imagination innovation” and “perceived efficiency”. The first, according to Mays, represents a profile that identifies your car and looks different from most other cars in a particular row on the road, “while the lighter is equal to visual lightness and elegance.” They have photovoltaic [and] tear-shaped cushions [where] the lateral lines disappear at the vanishing point about 100 yards behind the car. Think less about the traditional three-wheeled car and more a four-door coupe.
In 2011, Ford was re-imagining itself as a company. The car that allowed them to do everything is the Ford Evos Concept. This four-door Coupe was designed to show the latest appearance of Ford’s companies, Kinetic 2.0. This car is the main reason why Ford is able to deliver all of these wonderful designs that we have today. Evos was actually a car designed to measure only one goal in mind: look at the general public and make a statement. Although the car is still mostly unknown, it was one of the most popular versions at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011. The car was designed by Ford Europe but was supposed to show the next global design plan for Ford.
There is not much information about the car. It seems to have been built on the structure of the space frame that was covered with aluminum panels. Thanks to that, the car was very light and had a truly impressive design that could not have been otherwise.
The most interesting part is that it was a fully functional car and not just a show item. He had an engine, an internal interior and was able to drive, which no longer applied to current concepts.
2020 Ford Evos Design
The most impressive part of the Ford Evos Concept should be the appearance. When it was launched in 2011, the car did not look like the road. It was too small for what it was supposed to be. It was only 4.5 meters long and 1.36 meters high, but it was 2 meters wide and a long wheelbase.
Combining its size with a very low curved ceiling, curved windshield, and extended wheel arches, Evos looks like a supercar. On the front, he had the current design of the Ford Grill and a set of really thin headlights. There were no rear lights, but Ford installed DRL LEDs as attachments for brake ducts. The rear of the car had a LED strip of the entire car for rear lights, two reversible rear lights, and a central exhaust. Ford also installed a diffuser and a hot air copyer, but more on these later.
2020 Ford Evos Interior
The Ford Evos Concept had 4 individual seats with a fifth seat between the rear seats. The interesting thing was that the driver’s seat was red compared to the other four that were white. Thanks to the four wing doors, Evos was practically open when the doors were raised. This allowed for cabins resembling cabriolet, which is really unusual for a sedan. The dashboard was very forward, but it was fully functional, which is very impressive.
2020 Ford Evos Engine
Evos was a hybrid powertrain that was later used in hybrids and hybrids in Ford. This is an ambitious, natural course of Atkinson 2.0-liter on-line 4 coupled with an electric motor. The engine is mounted on the right side of the back of the rear axle. This allowed Ford to make the rear wheel of the car and maintain an almost perfect weight distribution. Although the engine was barely strong enough for a family sedan, it was effective and it was all that important. The car was actually an integrated hybrid, so it could have been shipped from the wall so that it could only drive a few miles by electricity. At that time, most of us expected Ford to launch the car as a production vehicle, because, although it was not strong, it was really unique.
